Dreams and courage quote

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them
I always try to have goals and dreams to pursue and I work at it. It's up to us really to make things happen. I dream of a cute and charming house, a fit body I can be proud, a great marriage, happy kids, great friends.  For some it is a long lifetime on going dream to work on, like with a marriage and happy kids and for the rest it may be short but we should never stop dreaming ever. It takes some courage to do anything to and I really believe that if things were not hard we would not even care.
Do you have dreams? Give me some advice how you make them happen...
Love,
Isabelle

Mimi is 13 years old

How did this happen? I remember when I was 13. I wanted to marry Michael Jackson. Why did my Mom get me back to reality? Haha. I was listening to the radio for hours every nights trying to forget about my parents situation. My Mom divorced my Dad after 7 years of separation and we moved from southern France to the city to my Grand ma's apartment in a ghetto around Paris. Life was so bizarre! So sad and hard. I am very glad that I am giving a better life than I had growing up to my daughter.
I can hear you say...How do you have a 13 year old daughter? I look younger than what I am. I actually married at 26 and had a "life" like I say. Traveled, served a mission for my church. I danced for Disneyland Paris...I am grateful for my daughter and I am so lucky. She is a sweet nurturing and caring young woman.
We had flowers delivered to school and donuts, a big chocolate cookie with icing to celebrate.
Did you marry young or late? do you like it?
I think we do what is the best for ourselves. Share...

Ephraim's rescue movie blogger event

I really loved the movie 17 miracles. I felt more appreciations for the pioneers, their sacrifice, courage and faith after seeing it. As I have said before my husband is a descendant of the pioneers. I am very exited about Ephraim's rescue. I got to meet T.C. Christensen, the director of the movie and Darin Southam the lead actor. Katherine Nelson is also in this movie and I got to meet her few months ago for a private mini concert. The world is really small in Utah and I love it. So many amazing and inspirational people. The movie is out May 31 in Utah and Mesa Arizona, check their website for locations here

A little bit about the movie:

From T.C. Christensen, director of the sensational pioneer film, 17 Miracles, comes the heroic true story of a simple man who was called to do the work of angels. Ephraim’s Rescue relates the story of Ephraim Hanks: a rescuer of the Martin Handcart company.
Follow Ephraim as his adventures lead him to join the LDS Church and ultimately to one of the most heroic rescues in American history. With a unique desire to help and strengthen others, Ephraim learns that each choice we make can prepare us for what lies ahead. He discovers, through it all, that decisions determine destiny.

Ephraim Hanks, a real hero:

During The rescue of the 1856 Martin handcart company, Ephraim Hanks provided buffalo meat to the travelers. "The most remarkable thing about it was that I had traveled that road more than fifty times, and never before saw so many buffaloes in that part of the country. There was not a member of the party but what believed that the Lord had sent them to us in answer to prayer".

Hanks also administered to the sick and dying. Finding many of the emigrants with frozen hands and feet. "Many such I washed with water and castile soap, until the frozen parts would fall off.Hanks provided another important service: Many of the Saints had frozen limbs which were endangering their lives"

Brother Hanks anointed these folks and prayed that an amputation could be done without pain. Then he took out his great hunting knife, held to the fire to cleanse it, and took off the dying limb with its keen blade; many with tears in their eyes said they hadn't felt a thing.

Darin Southam and me

Darin Southam as Ephraim Hanks
A little bit about Darin:
Darin's passion for acting started with a play in his 7th grade drama class and has evolved into a career, with roles that span from indie films, such as Last Man(s) On Earth, to Disney's Halloweentown High, Discovery Channel's I Shouldn't Be Alive, and Fox's 127 Hours. A former student of Playhouse West in North Hollywood (Jeff Goldblum, James Franco, Michelle Pfieffer, etc.)
Darin enjoys the method of digging deep into the characters he portrays. At heart, Darin is a family man with a wife and 3 young children; he hopes his performance as Ephraim Hanks in T.C.'s Ephraim's Rescue will elevate his opportunity to pursue what he truly loves to do - act in film. More info about Darin can be found at darinsoutham.com
Facebook: Darin Southam

T.C. Christensen

What does being a mom means to me

Being a Mom means lots of kisses, hugs and love.
Making her feel wanted, cared for.
Holding her when she sleeps because I am too tired to do anything else.
Having my life on hold to watch her grow.
No shower and messy hair.
Lack of sleep.
Dressing her cute and looking like crap.
Dressing up and nowhere to go.
Running out the door by myself and feeling on vacation.
Catching her when she falls.
Laughs, funny faces and sounds.
Making a cardboard house, painting her nails.
Eating bananas, cheese and on the go apple sauce.
Seing her feeding the dog her food.
Grabbing everything, pushing everything, pulling everything and cleaning poop on the  bathroom floor.
Cute baby sounds...bath bath bath.
Wishing my Mom was here to help me and talk to me.
What does being a Mom means to you?
