Beauty in the valley in Utah

Saturday night on my way to get gas....Sunset and beauty in the valley....In the ski resorts, the trees just started leafing....In the Valley it is green already...We have a lot of horses around...Lots of Ranches...Love Horses...I have always been in the Quest to take the best horse picture, i have seen a lot of photographers taking horse pictures...It was the perfect sunset...The horse was at the perfect spot and luckily i had my super duper camera...

My Fairy loves them too...She thinks she can ride them all...

I hope you all had a Great Mother's day...I sure did...Thank you for all your wishes...
XOXO

Hey Frenchy just wondering, do you keep your chickens and ducks together or seperate? We are thinking of adding a couple of ducks to our backyard flock and were trying to figure out if majority of people keep them together or not. Thank you!

Hello!
Nice to meet you! You are adorable!
I found you from Julie's blog. I must say your pictures are making me homesick! I grew up in the beautiful rocky mountains of Utah and I love French Country! We share a lot of the same joys! I love our blog! Thanks for sharing your talents and inspiration!
Have a great week!
love, Brenda

A Rhodes....I keep the Ducks and chickens together BUT i get them as babies and they grow up together...I don't know about adding Ducks to a flock of chickens ...First, the ducks would have to be grown ups...
Check http://www.backyardchickens.com/

Go on the website and ask ...a lot of people will tell you how to introduce them together...I have no problems introducing adult chickens ...Just ask them...I learn a lot there. They will tell you what to feed them too...Ducks lay better than chickens...by the way...
They are so cute!

What great photos you captured in the valley, and your little fairy seems enchanted by it all. Of course she can ride all the pretty horses in her dreams, I remember doing that when I was very young.

Your photos are wonderful. I especially like the first one. The color of the horse and the tree and just the composition of all plus the mountain and the sky... gorgeous. You capture the joy and sweetness of a fairy too. Your Fairy is precious.
